作者简介: 牟善磊,中国人民大学硕士二年级,导师是赵鑫教授,研究方向是推荐系统。
引言:推荐系统作为深度学习(CV, NLP, RS)御三家之一,一直都是学术界和工业界的热门研究topic。为了更加清楚的掌握推荐系统的前沿方向与最新进展,本文整理了最近一年顶会中推荐系统相关的论文,一共涵盖SIGIR2020, KDD2020, RecSys2020, CIKM2020, AAAI2021, WSDM2021, WWW2021七个会议共221篇论文。本次整理以long paper和research paper为主,也包含少量的short paper和industry paper。由于工作量巨大,难免有疏漏,欢迎大家在评论区指正。
本文整理的论文列表已经同步更新到GitHub,GitHub上会持续更新顶会论文,欢迎大家关注和star。
同时欢迎大家使用RecBole(伯乐)推荐系统工具包。RecBole 是一个基于 PyTorch 实现的,面向研究者的,易于开发与复现的,统一、全面、高效的推荐系统代码库。目前已经有72个常见的推荐模型,覆盖主流的研究任务,支持全面多样的数据处理与评测方式。同时我们也整理了28个常用的推荐系统数据集,可以直接在RecBole中使用。

1. 推荐任务1.1 Collaborative Filtering
协同过滤永不过时!作为经典中的经典,协同过滤更多考虑用户和物品的交互信息来找到相似的用户和物品,再利用相似性来进行推荐。从最早的基于邻居(Neighbor)的方法ItemKNN, UserKNN等,到基于矩阵分解(MF)的方法SVD++, BPRMF等,再随着神经网络的发展,基于神经网络(NN)的方法NCF, CDAE等,再到最近一些基于图神经网络的方法,协同过滤一直在不断进步,也展现出越来越强大的威力。最新的一些研究工作主要集中在如何更好的捕捉相似性上,包括设计更为复杂的网络结构,主要以VAE,GNN的结构为主;更复杂的空间来度量,例如双曲空间,立方体表示;以及更复杂的相似度计算方式。

1.2 Sequential/Session-based Recommendations
序列推荐也是顶会中热门的研究方向。sequential recommendations和session-based recommendations严格来说并不完全相似,与sequential recommendations相比,session-based不太有user的概念以及序列更短,但两者有非常多的相似之处,都是通过交互过的item序列来刻画偏好,因此放在一起来说。序列推荐最早是基于Markov Chain来进行建模,例如经典方法FPMC,后来随着一些序列模型的发展,例如RNN,GRU,包括最近火热的Transformer,序列推荐开始基于这些序列模型来建模,例如GRU4Rec,SASRec等,随着图神经网络的发展,基于GNN的方法也变得非常热门。

1.3 Knowledge-aware Recommendations
这一部分主要包括利用结构化信息来帮助推荐系统的工作,用到的结构化信息主要以Knowledge graph和HIN为主。这一类推荐任务也是近些年来热门的研究方向。为了能充分发挥出结构化信息的优势,早期有不少基于meta-path的方法,随着图神经网络的发展,目前GNN的方法已经成为主流。
