怎样做好中小学英语教学的衔接工作

1做好中小学英语教学任务、教学内容的衔接。小学的英语教学任务主要是培养学生听说方面的能力，老师一般从启蒙知识开始，通过听和直观感受积累，让学生学习一些常见的词汇，简单的句子和少量的语法知识。到了初中，学生从语言的积累阶段进入了语言的扩展和使用阶段，内容逐渐复杂难度也随之增大，教学要求从听说为主，逐渐向听说领先，读写跟上的阶段过渡和转移，学生要适应新的环境，新的科目，新的教学方法和新的教学要求。这就要求在教学任务和教学内容上要解决好中、小学英语教学之间的衔接问题。

（1）抓好复习。初中英语教师要了解与熟悉小学的教学内容，在上新课之前，必须认真仔细地研究小学所用过的教材，在开学的第一周，组织系统地复习，包括词汇、句子、语法和日常交际用语。这样可以熟悉小学的教学内容及学生的掌握程度。《Go for it！》教材Starter Units1—3就是为中小学英语教学做了很好的衔接。

（2）使学生尽快适应中学英语的教学方式。小学英语教学和中学英语教学在教学方法、教材选取和教学要求上也有极大的不同。学生升入初中以后，由于不适应这种变化，在英语学习方面都会遇到种种困难。如何帮助初中生尽快掌握中学英语的学习特点和学习方法，使他们能够在初中阶段打下一个扎实的英语基础，培养他们学习英语的基本能力，是初中英语教师要认真研究的一个重要课题。要确保小学教学向初中教学平稳地过渡，初中英语教学就必需做好中、小学英语教学方法的衔接和教学内容、教学任务的衔接。

2做好中小学教学方法的衔接。小学英语教师依据小学生心理、年龄特点特别注重创设教学流程，采取形式多样的教法，积极创设情景，把听、说、读、写和活动有机地结合起来，既活跃课堂气氛，而且重视交际能力的培养。但在初中教学中教师较注重语法教学，词汇教学，重视句型，中译英等方面的操练，教法形式单调，易让学生觉得枯燥无味，这就使得刚从小学升上来的初一学生精力无法长时间集中，对教师的教学无法适应，渐渐地失去了原来学习英语的兴趣与动力。

（1）预习方法的指导。每节新课学习之前，给学生布置具体的预习作业。教会学生使用工具书、借助于生词表，有的放矢地研读对话或课文，初步了解将要学的基本内容，记录预习中的疑难词组、句型等问题，使学生产生强烈求知的欲望。另外，新课的内容经过预习，学生学起来轻松，更大的收益是使学生养成了勤动手查资料、勤动脑思考问题的良好习惯，培养了其自学能力。

（2）听课方法的指导。英语课上教师应使学生充分调动一切感官，养成眼、耳、口、手、脑并用的听课习惯，充分理解并熟练运用所学到的英语语言材料，高效地掌握每节课上所学内容。如：在Presentation这一环节，要求学生眼观教师手势，耳听教师表达，脑子理解、记忆教师所表达的内容；在Practice过程中，要求学生张口读、脑子记、手写重难点单词；在 Consolidation这一环节，要求学生背诵本堂课所学内容，在背诵时，脑子里要呈现出一幅图，背完之后可用简笔画把所学内容画出来。反过来还可以看着图画把所学内容复述或背诵出来。这样使学生在听课中做到了五到，即：耳到、眼到、口到、手到、心到，有效地培养了他们听、说、读、写各方面的能力。

所以，初中教师应尽可能挖掘教材内容的趣味性，多设计一些有趣的英语对话，让学生积极开动脑筋，积极参与到课堂活动中来。其次，运用多媒体教学，在课堂教学中使用挂图，卡片、实物、电教设备、简笔画等营造出语言交际的情景，形象生动的情景能使学生产生身临其境的感觉，也加大了课堂的容量，提高了教学效果。

3、做好学生学习习惯、学习方法的衔接。小学生步入中学之后，环境发生了很大的变化。初中英语教师往往忽视了小学生习惯行为的衔接。学生初进中学时存在的习惯行为问题主要是：书写不规范，作业粗心马虎，拼写错误多，语法概念模糊，用汉语方式代替英语等。

有些家长反映，孩子完成了布置的作业就没事干了，建议老师加大作业量。这件事说明好多学生没有养成良好的学习习惯。通过学习习惯的衔接，要求学生养成自觉学习的习惯，即做到：听课聚精会神，认真记笔记、整理笔记、完成作业、找出问题。课前预习、课后复习、勤读多用等。

4做好中小学生学习兴趣的衔接。小学生独有的年龄特征表现出对新鲜事物好奇、好动、好问。进入初一后，他们依然天真浪漫，有正义感，对不喜欢的人和事会表示憎恨。这就需要英语教师在初中英语教学过程中认真把握好教材内容的趣味性，利用各种直观教具营造生动的语言交流情景，使学生在真实的情景中学习英语，体验英语学习的趣味性，享受英语学习的乐趣。开展各种英语课外活动，例如竞赛，满足学生的心理需要，让学生在活动中巩固和运用所学的知识，在竞赛中享受到成功的乐趣。

5做好教学评价内容和形式上的衔接。教师要组织难易适中的诊断性英语考试，包括词汇测试、综合测试、听力测试等。通过测试，教师可以了解全体学生的英语学习基础，增进教师对学生的进一步了解，为教师备课、上课提供可靠的教学依据，促使学习差的学生知已知彼，及时发现问题，及时调整学习计划以弥补学习上的不足。最近做了一些小升初家长回访，感想很多，觉得家长真的是很不容易。绝大多数的家长跟我说，孩子的英语成绩还可以，在学校能考90分左右，但是一考学校外面的知识就不行了。有一位家长甚至跟我说，以前觉得孩子的英语成绩很不错，但是去年的时候让孩子去考BETS1，没过，很受打击，才意识到孩子的英语成绩不是那么好，于是就报了学而思的小升初课程，这一年来孩子觉得收获很大。
