英语四级翻译技巧

1、理顺全文：做翻译题的第一步就是先理顺全文，理解一遍中文意思，只有理解顺了才能翻译对。千万不要看一句翻译一句或者一个词一个词往出来蹦着翻译，这样译出来的都是中式英语。

2、运用高级词汇：翻译的时候，在保证准确无误的情况下，可以适当运用一些高级词汇或者词组，让文章更加出彩。有些感觉很难的词汇，实在翻译不出来，就可以换个相类似的说法，用简单的词汇来表达。

3、分句法：把原文中一个单词或短语译成句子使原文的一个句子分译成两个或两个以上的句子或干脆把原文的一个句子拆开，译成两个或两个以上的句子。

4、反译法：就汉译英而言,就是把句子按照与汉语相反的表达方式译成英语。

5、顺序法：顺序法翻译不改变原文表达语序不会影明对原文内容的理解。

英语四级翻译常用句型

1、It is+形容词+that

例：It is conceivable thatknowledge plays an important role in our life

翻译：可想而知，知识在我们的一生中扮演着一个重要的角色。

2、It is+形容词+to do/ doing

例：She had said what it wasnecessary to say

翻译：她已经说了一切有必要说的话。

3、祈使句/名词+and/ or

例：Work hard, and you willfinally be able to reach your destination

翻译：努力工作，你就能实现自己的目标。

4、as+many/ much+名词+as

例：It is said that visitorsspend only half as much money in a day in Leeds as in Lon-don

5、倍数词+as+形容词+as

例：The reservoir is three timesas big as it was ten years ago

英语四级翻译常用词汇

1、直译法

所谓直译,就是在译文语言条件许可时,在译文中既保持原文的内容,又保持原文的形式。在汉语和英语两种语言中存在着许多共同之处，在对于许多英语句子的翻译过程中，完全可以采取直译的方法,这样可以获得一举两得之功效，既保持了原文的结构，又正确表达了原文的内容。

直译的焦点不在原文形式，而原文词语的字面意思，即只要按字面意义(或称表层意义)去译，不管结构形式改变与否都是直译。如既能保留字面意思,又能保存原句句式,则是典型的直译。

2、意译法

意译是直译的对立面，没有直译，就无所谓意译。当原文的思想内容与译文的表达形式有矛盾不宜采用直译方法处理，就应采用意译法，也就是不拘泥于原文的形式。

而重点在于正确表达原文的内容，根据上下文的逻辑关系，从词的基本意思出发进一步引申词义，用比较恰当的汉语词汇表达出来。

英语四级翻译技巧：修饰后置

分析：本句中“非常复杂的需要组织、协调和沟通能力”是修饰工作的，所以修饰部分放在后面用which引导定语从句。要注意不要逐字翻译进行单词的罗列，一定注意句式分开层次。

英语四级翻译技巧：插入语

插入语一般对一句话做一些附加的说明。通常与句中其它部分没有语法上的联系，将它删掉之后，句子结构仍然完整。插入语在句中有时是对一句话的一些附加解释、说明或总结。

有时表达说话者的态度和看法;有时起强调的作用;有时是为了引起对方的注意;还可以起转移话题或说明事由的作用;也可以承上启下，使句子衔接得更紧密一些。

分析：本句中“最初是由手工艺人发明的”是对中国结的补充说明，将它删掉之后主句依然完整，故在译文中将其作为插入语。
