英语基本功，拿到一篇课文应该怎么“读”（上）

无论小学英语教材、还是现在很热门的新概念英语、斯考特K-6等系统教材，“读”课文，那是必须的。

在哪个阶段，用哪个读法，孩子们造吗？

塔叔用新概念英语第一册第37课《Making a bookcase》为例，详细讲解怎么“读”课文。上篇讲预习阶段，中篇讲练习阶段，下篇讲复习阶段。

~ ~ 预习阶段 ~ ~

预习阶段先默读全文，然后逐句跟读，总共需要约10分钟。

默读全文

要求就一个词：理解！理解课文关键意思，理解生词。

>>带着问题，默读全文

新概念英语很好的一点是，每课预设了一个问题。这课的问题是：What is Susan’s favorite color? 苏珊最喜欢哪种颜色？以问题为指引，一边默读一边寻找答案，利于理解课文，提高专注度。

>>最小单位是词群，关注关键词

短的句子，一次性看完整句，如，

Here you are.

长的句子，一次看一组相关的词群，如，

What colorare | you going | to paint it?

千万不要养成一个一个词读的坏习惯，要把注意力放在关键词上，保持理解力的连贯性，扑捉课文意思。大脑中，课文的印象类似下面这张图。

>>猜生词

默读中会遇到生词，配合课文插图和上下文意思，去猜意思，本课生词bookcase书柜、hammer锤子、daughter女儿都容易明白，pink粉红、 favorite最喜欢也基本能猜出大意。读完、猜完之后再比对生词表，即使猜错了也没有关系，从错到对的过程更能加深生词的理解和记忆。

塔叔非常不建议先过生词后读课文，浪费了锻炼阅读理解的大好机会，滋生阅读畏惧感。

逐句跟读

预习阶段，逐句跟读的要求是：准确！读句子不错音、不漏词、不颠倒顺序。

>>不看文字，由音频引导口语

播放一句音频暂停，模仿这句，并检查纠正。比如：

You're working hard, George.

看文字念you're不会错，但听、说时容易漏掉're，通过检查纠正，不仅训练了听力辨识连读细微因素的能力，也巩固了进行时的语法细节。

>>可以慢，但不要想词，更不要拼句子

注意力放在听力上，建立听力记忆，建立语感，长句子要得听出节奏感，也要模仿出节奏感。比如：

Give ?me | that? hammer ?| please, Dan.

不要按理解到的意思，用单词拼出句子来，容易引起记忆混乱。比如，有的同学说成：

Please give that hammer to me.

虽然拼句子不一定拼错，但失去了以听力促语感，积累语法的目的。

逐句跟读在后面的其他环节还会用到，但要求跟此处不同，塔叔在本文的（中）篇会讲到。

七年级，学习英语为时不晚。接下来我就用我的经验为你将一些英语基本语法知识。

一、音标

作为一名英语学习者，音标必不可少。

音标分为元音和辅音。

辅音：q w r t y p s d f g h j k l z x c v b n m

元音：a e i o u

辅音又分清辅音和浊辅音（具体请参考英语工具书）

音标里还有一个叫做“重读闭音节”，就是以一个元音+一个辅音结尾的单词，如：shop

、swim，这些单词变为进行时的时候应该双写尾字母再加ing（当然也有特殊，具体请参考英语工具书）

二、句子

句子分为陈述句、疑问句和从句

（1）陈述句即以正常语序表述的句子，即：主语+谓语+宾语

如：I（主语） love（谓语） you（宾语）.

（2）疑问句即表示疑问的句子（一般以what、who、where、why、which开头）

1、一般疑问句

以what开头的一般疑问句一般是要问“什么”

What do you want to do?（你想干什么？）

以who开头的一般疑问句一般是要问“谁”

Who is he?（他是谁？）

以where开头的一般疑问句一般是要问“哪里”

Where are you going?（你要去哪里？）

以why开头的一般疑问句一般是要问“为什么”

Why?（为什么？）

以which开头的一般疑问句一般是要问“哪一个”

Which star do you like?（你喜欢哪一个明星？）

2、反意疑问句

即反问句（一般是自己已经有结果然后征求别人的意见或看法）

如：She is pretty,isn't she?（她很漂亮，不是吗？）

3、以be动词、情态动词或助动词开头的疑问句（具体请参考英语工具书）

如：Do you like this dress?

Is he you father?

Can you help me?

（4）从句

从句是在主句里担当特定成分的句子（主语、宾语、同位语、表语、定语、状语或补语）

1、主语从句（即某个句子的主语是另外整个句子）

To be a artist is my dream.（成为一个艺术家是我的梦想）

To be a artist在整个句子中当做主语，is是谓语，my dream是宾语

What I want to do is to be a artist.（同上）

在这个句子中，先用What来做形式主语，然后再把真正的主语to be a artist放在句尾

2、宾语从句

I love to stay at where looks like my home.（我喜欢呆在看起来像我家的地方）

I 是主语，where looks like my home是宾语

3、同位语从句

在句子中的意思和本体和就是主语本身

The message that he will come back from London is true.（她从伦敦回来的这条消息婶真实的）

The message 和he will come back from London表示的是同个意思，he will come back from London在句子中作为The message 的同位语

4、表语从句

在句子中表明主语的身份、状态或者是地位

He is a friend of my father.（他是我父亲的朋友）

5、定语从句

在句子中起限定或修饰作用的句子

He is a soldier who has join the WorldWar II.（他是个参加过二战的军人）

has join the WorldWar II用来修饰soldier，用来说明这个军人是“参加过二战的军人”

除此之外，还有时态、语态、独立主格结构等等，一时也无法说完，重要是要靠自己的学习和理解。

If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed.

　But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness,but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world.When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation.When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words.When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...

　I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London,because it is the birth place of English.

　I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.

　I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.

　If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

　some of you already know, that it?s hard, it?s not easy, it?s hard changing your life. that in the process of working on your dreams you are going to incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain. there are moments that you are going to doubt yourself. you said, god why is this happening to me? i?m just trying to take care of my family, trying to give them a good life, i?m not trying to steal or rob from anybody. why does this have to happen to me. for those of you that have experienced some hardships ? don?t give up on your dream.

　the rough times are gonna come, but they have not come to stay, they have come to pass. greatness, is not this wonderful, esoteric, illusive, god like feature that only the special among can achieve. it?s something that truly exists, in all of us. it?s very important for you to believe that you are the one!

　most people they raise a family, they earn a living and then they die. they stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. then a lot of people like to complain but they don?t wanna do anything about their situation. and most people don?t work on their dreams ? why?

　1. is because of fear, fear of failure ?what if things don?t work out?

　2. is fair of success ?what if they do and i can?t handle it?
